Build-A-Bear

On New Year's Eve, Nonie and Poppie decided to take Faith, Diego and Dayne to build-a-bear for some fun. Poor Dayne was just getting over his strep so he wasn't as into it as the other two were. But they all had a good time. Faith picked out a koala bear, Dayne got a teddy bear, and Diego- well he had to have a turkey. It was too cute, he picked it every time, he just loves him.


After picking out the bears it was time to stuff them. They picked out a heart to put in it and then Nonie and Poppie gave them each a personal message for their animals. In each of them they tell them goodnight and that they love them. Now when the kids go to sleep they can hear Nonie and Poppie tell them goodnight.

After they stuffed the animals it was time to give them a bath. The little machine really just blow air, but it does get all of the extra fuzz off of them. And the little brushes help with the shedding.

Dayne and Diego then had fun looking at all of the different clothes and accessories that they had for the animals. We chose not to get any of that this time since they usually get taken off and lost fairly quickly.

Now it was time to give them a name and create a birth certificate for them, too cute. Dayne pushed the paw to listen to his message close to 50 times on the way back to West Virginia, needless to say- he likes it.

They all had a wonderful time and they have a precious stuffed animal to remind them of the fun. Thank you Nonie and Poppie!
