Dayne turns two!

I can't believe my sweet baby has turned two years old. He is growing up so fast- too fast! We decided to have his Birthday Party while we were in Texas since that is where all of his friends are. We had the party at Peter Piper's Pizza in Burleson. Poor baby, he had strep and just wasn't feeling too well, but he did have a good time.

Lots of family and friends showed up to help us celebrate. We are so blessed to have some many people that love us.
Dayne and Faith loved riding the little rides they had. That motorcycle was right up Dayne's alley.

After playing games and riding the rides, the kids got to eat some pizza,
Dayne's favorite. Anytime he even sees a picture of pizza he says, "Pitzey, what some." So of course we had to have pizza for his birthday.

Then the kids got to play some more.
Faith and Diego playing Deal or No Deal- we played several time trying to win tickets. It was crazy trying to keep rounding them up. But it was time for cake and presents. Of course Dayne had to have a cake with tractors, he loves them so much. I have never seen a baby love one thing as much as he loves tractors.

Dayne got lots of wonderful gifts. He loved his backpack with flashlight and water bottle that GiGi and Uncle gave him. And he got so excited about the rug and tractor that Annie and Ronny gave to him. But he couldn't take his hands off of the tractors that were on the cake. That is until he saw the rolling tool box that Poppie and Nonie gave him. He uses it to store all of drills, screw drivers and other tools. He got lots of adorable outfits and other fun toys too. He hit the jackpot.

Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.

On January 17,2009, Dayne actually turned 2 years old. He and his sister discovered that getting in the dryer could be a lot of fun- so most of the morning and afternoon were spent in there. They would shut the door, change places, and giggle a whole lot.
That night I stopped and got him some balloons or as he calls them boombooms. His little face just lit up when I came in the door with the. And then he saw the pizza I picked up for dinner. Oh was he excited.
Finally it was time for presents. If you notice in the pictures almost all of his wrapping is done in the brown postal envelope wrapping paper. He has so many sweet gifts sent to him in the mail. He loved all of the toys, but when he would open the clothes he would just throw them down. He was so funny.

His silly mommy made him a homemade strawberry cake with real strawberries only to remember after he took one bite that he was allergic to fruit. Oh well, we all enjoyed it.
And that's all folks.
