While my parents were visiting we decided to take them Snow Tubing. The weather proved to be just perfect for the day. It was cool enough for a light jacket and we could leave the scarfs and earmuffs in the car. Unfortunately, we left Dayne's coat at home, so he had to wear Faith's. He actually looked just precious in it. He was one cool dude.
We spent 2 1/2 hours riding up the belt and heading down the slopes. Of course Jason and Dad were dare-devils from the beginning; however, it took Mom and I a little time to work up the nerve to head down on our stomachs. It was a blast though, sometimes it pays to try new things even if they seem a little scary at first. I think fear has a way of keeping me from trying new things way too often.

We took a break at the bottom of the slopes to takes some pictures. Poor Dayne was allowed to go down the slopes so he had to be pulled around in the tubes.

At one point, Dayne and I were waiting for the everyone to get back, just standing next to the line to go up. A little boy reached down to pick up something Dayne had dropped. Dayne reached up and grabbed his hand thinking the little boy was going to take him up. When I told him he wasn't allowed to go, he looked up at me with the saddest expression and said, "ahh Mama" and then he began crying hysterically. It broke my heart. So when I told Jason about it he got Dayne and took him up on the belt in a tube and then they walked back down. Dayne absolutely loved that.

The resort did have a small area where the little kids could go down about a 3 foot hill if the parents pulled them up it. Jason got a little aggressive and messed up his knee while slinging Dayne around. That man never does anything halfway. But Dayne absolutely loved and just belly-laughed saying, "More More." There is a video at the end of his little "ride."
