My Name is Dayne (a.k.a.Roonie)

Before I begin, let me preface this by saying my sister made me do it. That being established I will introduce myself to you. I was born Jason "Dayne" Reed in January of 2007. Since then I have adopted the names Roonie, Toddle Doddle, Doodle Bug, and Little, but most of all Roonie and that's it. Some of my favorite things to do are:

A. Play with tools and tractors

B. Hiding the remote controls and keys from my mommy and daddy

C. Riding the vaccuum cleaner

D. Tools and Tractors

E. Driving my sister crazy by getting in her stuff

F. Making a mess

G. Did I mention that I love tools and tractors?

H. And I love sipping on some yum yum (mommy's coffee)

I. I love to get inside things to play

J. But my most favorite thing to do is to keep my mommy on her toes. My mommy says that God gave me long eyelashes so that all I have to do is bat my eyes at her and she won't kill me when I am up to some of my usual antics. I have decided to submit some of my best work here.

My first attempt at trying to color mommy's hair gray began when I was around 4 months old as I started perfecting the art of escape. I would get out of my carseat when the feat seemed impossible. One minute I was in the seat and when mommy turned her back I would do my best to wiggle my way out. By the time I was 11 months old I could escape from just about anything. One day my mommy straped me into my bouncy seat and left me in her room to go to sleep. While she was busy in the kitchen, I rocked myself forward, managed to disconnect the material from the bars and crawl into the living room with material still straped to me.

To add more gray hair to my mommy's head, I began climbing. By the age of 16 months, I had gotten really good. One morning, while my daddy was in the shower, I took everything out of the cabinets in the bathroom and climbed in. Later on, when mommy was in the shower I climbed up on the potty, and then into the sink. I then sat down in the sink with my pajamas on and filled the sink with water. My mommy told me to turn the water off, but when she went back to her own shower, I turned it on again. This did not make Mommy too happy. That afternoon, my sister took a bath when she got home from school. As mommy was washing her hair, I snuck into the other bathroom and climbed into the potty to play. When she came looking for me, I was sitting inside the toilet stuffing toilet paper all around me. She took one look at me and began screaming, "Oh my word, oh my word, oh my word!" This scared me so I began crying because I thought that I was in trouble. She just began taking pictures. But guess what, I got to get in the bathtub afterwards, which is what I had been wanting all day.

But by far my best trick happened 2 weeks ago in the gym at daddy's school. We get to go up there and play after sister gets out of school sometimes. We were playing ball in the big gym. Don't worry it's safe no one can come in without a special badge to open the doors. Anyway, I waited until my sister got engrossed in whatever she was doing before slipping away. When mommy came back out she asked sista where I was and she said, he's right there, but when she turned around I was gone. My mom started looking in the weight room while sista looked opened the men's locker room door and called my name. Next, mommy opened the side door and yelled my name while sista went into the ball room to see if I was there. When they couldn't find me, mommy grabbed her pass and ran outside looking for me and began praying that I was okay and that God would help her to find me. She came back in and heard my little voice as my sister came into the men's locker room and found me playing with the water in the sink. They're so silly, they should have known that that's where I'd be.

Well, perhaps now you can understand why my mommy is getting more and more gray hair. But I promise, if you ask her, she'll say it's all worth it!
